The Six Black Presidents

As I mentioned in a previous blog, it has been stated that maybe Barack Obama will not be the first Black man elected to the presidency of the United States of America. Due to the racial standards and biases that this country has always had, these six men had to hide their heritage and family backgrounds in order to achieve that lofty office. We all know about some of these men and their families connections with owning slaves, therefore it is not inconceivable knowing how the slavemasters mixed sexually with the slave women, that children were produced through some of those relations.

We have learned just last year that Rev. Al Sharpton has been linked to the late segregationist Senator Strom Thurmond, because Thurmond's ancestors at one time owned Sharpton's ancestors during slavery. Rev. Sharpton has refused to submit to DNA testing to confirm any proof that they may have been related, but when you read the synopsis about each of these presidents, it does raise a viable argument about each one's bloodline. Don't think that this is just someones farfetched theory about these men, you can do your own research, as this is just one of many articles on the subject.

But Barack Obama is different. We know his background, his father was from Kenya and his mother is from Wichita, Kansas, and he was born in Hawaii, where his parents first met. He still has a grandmother he talks to and visits in Kenya. I don't know what the actual percentage is, but I'll bet at least 90% of us claiming to be African Americans in this country have no idea where our African roots originate.

A lot of people don't like him simply because of his name. His middle name is Hussein, and his last name reminds you of Osama, but Barack was named after his father, Barack Obama Sr. long before Americans had any knowledge of Sadam Hussein ot Osama Bin Laden. In fact Barack spent part of his childhood growing up in Indonesia after his mother remarried. Much like Tiger Woods, Obama has more international credentials than most people realize and maybe this is why he had so much international appeal when he made his recent trip abroad. So before you misjudge the man based on his name, or the color of his skin, do your research on him, and these six well known and respected men listed above.
